It is not a coincidence that, for many anglers, the autumn is the favourite season, because during the autumn the carp are still feeding intensively, preparing for the cold, winter months ahead. I live in Slovenia so I decided to visit the Carp Dream Lake, which is located close to the border in Hungary.

After finding the spots I had the picture in my mind where I will be looking for the carp and what bait I would use during the 3 days session. I found a breakage, a plateau, and around this the water was shallow in all directions so I decided to focus on this spot. Later, this idea was confirmed because I caught fish only from there. As my hookbait I was using the spicy SBS Eurostar Garlic boilies, balanced with 14 mm Garlic Pop Up bait. I made the hookbait more attractive with the garlic flavoured Eurostar paste.

As always (although most anglers are using it only in hot weather) I took with me the M2 flavoured baits added to the Garlic flavoured baits. In my baitbag, next to the M2 baits and wafters, there were the same pop up baits and paste too. In order to make my hookbait more attractive, I made a stick mix in a PVA mesh from M2 Method Mix, pellets, and Spod Juice.
